St Bees Green Future has worked again this autumn and winter with Futureproof Cumbria (previously Cumbria Action for Sustainability) to offer free basic thermal imaging surveys for local homes. In addition to this, Futureproof Cumbria ran a heat pump information event in St Bees this month.

The event was well attended, with around 30 people coming to learn more about how heat pumps work, home readiness for a heat pump, the associated costs and grants available. There was also a case study of a household’s experience of installation and living with a heat pump, and trusted installers were on hand to answer questions.
